Foodie Find- Art through food with Ida

Here at I've Got Munchies, we strongly encourage individuals to play with their food.  When we find someone who has done so and created amazingness out of it, THAT deserves a slow clap turning into a standing ovation. I recently discovered the artfully delicious world of Ida Skivenes through her blog IdaFrosk: the food art blog . Pretty much sums it all up. So for us under the influence of various vices here's something to marvel at in wonder! 

Ida is an instagram food enthusiast who lives in Oslo, Norway. While her blog is in Norwegian, she does write in English too!

Snickers Salad

This recipe is great for picnics, parties and just plain late night snacking!

Ingredients:

• 3 Large Apples (Green Apples work best)
• 1/2 cup of Milk
• 1/2 a package of Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
• 4 oz. of Cool Whip
• 1 cup of Snickers

Directions:

1. First, mix together milk and instant pudding mixture until thoroughly blended. 
2. Then carefully fold in Cool Whip
3. Refrigerate Pudding/Cool Whip mixture for 1 hour
4. Cut up Apples and Snickers into bit sized chunks
5. Stir Apples, Snickers into the pudding/Cool Whip mixture
6. Enjoy!
