One of my absolute favorite live comedy shows is the character driven show "Buttski & Glasscock's New Talent Blow Out" at the Peoples Improv Theater from the brilliant and hilarious mind of Jenneral Assembly's Jenn Dodd.

Each month the Buttski and Glasscock Talent Agency brings you the best of the worst in the most pure, yet eccentric, talent this small town has to offer. As only two career-savvy former show girls can, Buttski and Glasscock comb through Craigslist ad after Craigslist ad looking to breed new talent. And each month YOU will determine which act will get a one-year contract with the agency. 

This month Jenn Dodd will be hosting with Brendan McLoughlin (Williamsburg Film Festival, Comedy Rants) a SPECTACULAR-don't-miss-can't-miss-holy-shit kind of line up. We have:

*Jimmy Viola (Necrosexual, joining us all the way from Philly!)
*Sharon Jamilkowski (I've Got Munchies, Face Time with Sharon)
*Karen Summerton (Get Him to the Greek, MTV, Chobani)
*Marcus Monroe (Andy Kaufman Award Winner, HE JUGGLES SWORDS, y'all)

Corn Dog Muffins

(Makes about 6-8 muffins)

Ingredients:

• Corn Muffin Mix (like Jiffy)
• 1/3 cup Milk
• 1 egg
• Hot Dogs
• Cream Cheese (optional)
• Chopped Jalapeno (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 Degrees
2. Grease muffin pan
3. Mix together milk, egg and cornbread mix
4. Let batter rest for 3-4 minutes (batter may be lumpy)
5. Chop a couple hot dogs into 1-2 inch chunks
6. Stir again and pour into muffin pan making sure to fill cups 1/2 full 
7. Place a couple hot dog chunks into muffin cups
8. Place 1 teaspoon of cream cheese and/or chopped jalapeno into each cup
9. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes
10. Let cool
11. Eat!

Mary Jane gets a new pet and decides to make him a special treat of Corn Dog Muffins. I've Got Drunkies- Hot Alcoholic Cocktails Oh My!

In cold weather months, I tend to drink more bourbon heavy drinks and heated liquor concoctions. I recently stumbled across my mother's many recipes for delicious warm me up cocktails! Enjoy and may your holidays be filled with "I've Got Drunkies" delights!

Hot Buttered Rum Mix  

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter  
1/4 t. nutmeg
1/4 t. ground cloves
1/4 t. cinnamon
1 pound light brown sugar
1 pt. vanilla ice cream

Mix together well with electric mixer and store in tight container in freezer. To make individual servings, place 1 heaping Tablespoon of mixture in mug with very hot water and a shot of rum. Stir. Top with whipped cream (Readi-Whip is fine). Mixture keeps indefinitely in freezer and can be easily spooned while frozen. Makes a cool whip size bowl worth of mixture, enough for many mugs of drink.
