Snack Attack- Sprite Gummy Bear Pops

I pinned this yummy snack back in January when temps plunged below zero. Now, in preparation for the summer, I made this awesomely delicious snack and had to share!

Ingredients:

  • Sprite
  • Gummy Bears
  • Vodka (optional for the over 21)

Directions:

  1. In popsicle maker container, pour sprite 2/3 way full
  2. If adding vodka, pour 1 oz of vodka into each popsicle
  3. Add gummy bears into each popsicle area
  4. Place in freezer until frozen
  5. Eat! Watch out for brain freeze!

Recipe- Broccoli Cheddar Bites

Great as an appetizer, snack or a midnight munch down! Serve with some ranch dip and you're in for a real treat!

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. Frozen Broccoli Bits- THAWED- chopped into small pieces if needed
  • 1 1/2 cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • Dash of salt and pepper
  • RANCH DIP (optional for dipping sauce)

Directions:

  1. PREHEAT oven to 350 Degrees
  2. MIX all the ingredients together in large bowl
  3. STIR
  4. FORM into bite sized patties and place on GREASED cookie sheet
  5. BAKE for 15 minutes and FLIP over
  6. BAKE another 10-15 minutes or until golden brown
  7. SERVE warm with ranch dip as dipping sauce!

Snickers Salad

This recipe is great for picnics, parties and just plain late night snacking!

Ingredients:

  • 3 Large Apples (Green Apples work best)
  • 1/2 cup of Milk
  • 1/2 a package of Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
  • 4 oz. of Cool Whip
  • 1 cup of Snickers

 

Directions:

  1. First, mix together milk and instant pudding mixture until thoroughly blended. 
  2. Then carefully fold in Cool Whip
  3. Refrigerate Pudding/Cool Whip mixture for 1 hour
  4. Cut up Apples and Snickers into bit sized chunks
  5. Stir Apples, Snickers into the pudding/Cool Whip mixture
  6. Enjoy!

Corn Dog Muffins


(Makes about 6-8 muffins)

Ingredients:

 

  • Corn Muffin Mix (like Jiffy)
  • 1/3 cup Milk
  • 1 egg
  • Hot Dogs
  • Cream Cheese (optional)
  • Chopped Jalapeno (optional)

 

Directions:

 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 Degrees
  2. Grease muffin pan
  3. Mix together milk, egg and cornbread mix
  4. Let batter rest for 3-4 minutes (batter may be lumpy)
  5. Chop a couple hot dogs into 1-2 inch chunks
  6. Stir again and pour into muffin pan making sure to fill cups 1/2 full 
  7. Place a couple hot dog chunks into muffin cups
  8. Place 1 teaspoon of cream cheese and/or chopped jalapeno into each cup
  9. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes
  10. Let cool
  11. Eat!

I'm always in search of new foods that push boundaries and when I came across this amazing concoction of a chocolate chip cookie grilled cheese. While these two items mashed up into one don't seem to go together, but they absolutely do. Why I didn't think of this myself in a fit of munchies madness?
